The SPORTS RACER CHALLENGE SERIES series, 2025 inaugural season.
This is the just announced vintage Sports Racer Challenge race series for 2025, sponsored by Ronin Autowerks, and Motorsports Market. For the inaugural season, the five race series shall take place at SVRA and VARA events, and will be open to all small bore vintage-accepted sports racers, ie Sports 2000s, World Sports Racers, CSRs, DSRs, etc. The best four out of five finishing positions from the races shall determine the season championship. There will be five Classes: HS2, S2, WSR, WSR1, and Open. Trophies and raffle prizes will be offered to the competitors. Registration will be through the Club that the Challenge is racing with that weekend.

The 2025 schedule is as follows:
Buttonwillow Raceway, old course – March 14-16, with SVRA
Sonoma Raceway – April 24-27, SVRA
Portland Raceway – July 25-27, SVRA
Buttonwillow, new course – September 13-14, VARA
Thunderhill Raceway – October 10-12, SVRA
