BRAKE PEDAL BOX AND STEERING COLUMN
We built a pedal box mount bracket to hold the Wilwood pedal assembly in place. Then we cut out the old steering column and brackets and fabbed up a new system using a rollcage-mounted adjustable support containing a spherical bearing for the new shaft. Any day that you get to use power tools is a good day! While the Wagoon roof is off, I spent some time removing some unnecessary metal. After a couple hours with a cutoff wheel and a grinder, the roof was fifteen pounds lighter. RACE SEATS
After taking the month of August off to pack, move, and unpack, I'm back to work on the Race Wagon. Yesterday we got to fabricating the floorboard seat plates, and mounting the seats to them.
