So, do I leave the roof rack on the race car??? Let me know what you think.
UPDATE: The rack weighs 15 lbs!!! And the roof trim underneath weighs another 3 lbs. Regardless of the drag issue, the rack goes. But I think I’ll keep the roof trim, it just looks too cool to get rid of. I’ll keep the rack to bring my surfboard along to the track however ;-)
Carbon Fiber surf-wing, I love it. I think the kids strapped into the back seats will drive the scrutineers crazy as well!
You know where I stand, DRAG!! get’er off! (unless you want to bolt a surfboard on and then you have to leave it. Make the board Carbon Fiber and drive the Tech-weenies absolutely nuts, call it a wing!!)

My vote is to take it off. The wagon body is already a statement.
I don’t know, the racer in me says get rid of it. But the enthusiast side of me says leave it up — it adds character.
