Great weekend of racing with my VARA buds. Even though my Datsun 710 is for sale, I just had to break it out and join the fun (it ran great by the way). The highlights of the weekend were the cars brought out for the final Kastner Cup race. The owner of the Brock-Kastner TR250k even brought it out to race, what an amazing piece of automotive history, and it was damn fast to boot!
We had the usual overload of bench racing, karaoke, bbq, and beers as well. Guess that’s one of the reasons why we keep coming back. And big props to Steve Villata for taking his first Group win the Race Wagon! That awesome ol’ goon just keeps getting better with age (the car too).
