The dyno day at Z Car Garage went well for the wagon, a few jetting and timing adjustments later and the new motor is running like a champ. We even discovered a second small muffler actually added a little horsepower as the motor liked the extra backpressure. The break-in oil has now been replaced with the good stuff, the head re-torqued, valves reset, and it’s time for a test day.
Sharing garage time with the wagon has been my Honda cb450 resto-mod project. I finally got the ‘Green Hornet’ out for its maiden voyage this week and while there are a few small projects left on it, its really nice having it back on the road.
