This Friday and Saturday, October 26 and 27, 2012, the Your Private Track Day club has got two prime days at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca. The weather is forecast to be superb, 70 degrees and sunny. I just spoke to the owner, Phillip Holmes, and he assures me there are plenty of spots still available. Don't waste this great opportunity to get plenty of great track time at a world … [Read more...] about LAGUNA SECA TRACK DAY

MORE LAGUNA SECA TRACK DAYS
Here's a great opportunity to get some summer track time at Laguna Seca Mazda Raceway - Your Private Track Days still has some slots available for their event on Wednesday, June 20th. Most tracks are sweltering this time of year, but Laguna Seca is usually cool and foggy in the morning, and sunny and 70 degrees in the afternoon, can't beat that! But do keep in mind that LSR's … [Read more...] about MORE LAGUNA SECA TRACK DAYS
TRACKMASTERS LAGUNA SECA

Adding a couple more invited clubs such as the Factory Five Cobras and Spec Panoz's made for some … [Read more...] about SCCA VINTAGE, LAGUNA SECA 2011
LAGUNA SECA WITH YOUR-PRIVATE-TRACK-DAY

Phillip Holmes and his group put on a well organized event with plenty of track time for everyone. They ran three run groups in rotating 20 minute sessions from 9AM until 4PM, more than enough time to chew up a set of brake pads. From hi-dollar Ferraris to old-school Beemers, … [Read more...] about LAGUNA SECA WITH YOUR-PRIVATE-TRACK-DAY
SFR SCCA VINTAGE SPRING CLASSIC, PART 2
While I was cruising the pits with my point-and-shoot, track photographer Scott Estes was cruising the ARMCO with his big lenses. His photos of the action in the Small Bore, Mid Bore, Big Bore, and Vintage NASCAR races is superb. He loaned me his copyrighted pics for this post. His work can be found at http://gallery.xfiler.com/albums.php … [Read more...] about SFR SCCA VINTAGE SPRING CLASSIC, PART 2
