Boy it was a hot one! We don’t have to race in 100+F temps here in California very often, so this weekend really tested the cooling capabilities of car and driver alike. Turnout was still respectable, over 175 drivers signed up, and it looked like most of them showed up to race. Unfortunately Group 2, that includes my S2, was a bit thin this weekend, and after the first lap I was just racing myself. Ah well, used it as a good test weekend, sorted out my newly rebuilt shocks, tried a few new lines around the track, and confirmed my cooling system is working well. I pitted with my friends from Over Budget Racing, always a helpful group of guys.
