I got to race the Van Diemen at Laguna Seca last weekend with Pacific F2000 and SFR SCCA. Good weather, good friends, good racing, that’s what it’s all about! Took a first and a second in the National (Pinto-powered) FC class with some great dicing throughout. The Spec Racer Fords were out in force for their Festival weekend, seemed like 50+ cars. It’s always fun to see the crazy exhausts required to beat the Mazda Raceway sound police. And it’s cool to see different versions of the portable workshop.
