Considering we sere still in a pandemic year, 2021 ended up being a pretty good race season. Most of the tracks allowed us to have spectators for the second half of the year, and some counties even allowed indoor dining at the track as long as everyone was vaccinated, bringing back some semblance of normalcy. CSRG’s season finale at Thunderhill was the same, a good but smaller turnout than in past years yet still a great spirit of racer camaraderie. Some Groups were combined to fill out the grids and still allow for lots of track time each day, and a great Awards banquet MC’ed by the the wonderful Club Prez Locke De Bretteville. Blessed by great weather for a November race, we head into 2022 hoping for normal times and car counts to return.
