Every Thursday night from spring until fall the Monterey and Carmel gearheads gather at the Baja Cantina for an evening of benchracing, bar-b-que, and beverages. You might have guessed that I really like the old Japanese wagons and trucks. My first car was a '69 Datsun 521 1600 pickup (shown at bottom), and of course my latest is the Race Wagoon. Today was the pre-launch day for the 2010 California Mille Rally. It is held out front of the Fairmont Hotel, one of San Francisco's iconic Nob Hill landmarks. CANEPA DESIGNS TOUR
Along with some members of the Nob Hill Auto Club, I toured the Canepa Designs restoration shop/showroom/museum today in Scotts Valley, CA. There is some truely world class design and restoration work going on there.
