I recently purchased a 2000 Carbir CS2 P2 car for the 2023 SCCA season. It had belonged to the previous owner for over fifteen years, but was last on track four and a half years ago. CSRG had its final race of the season at Thunderhill Raceway last weekend. The weather threatened rain all wknd but we just got a drizzle for the last race on Saturday afternoon. Great race weekend at Thunderhill Rcwy with SCCA. It was our season finale, with a triple race event on three different track configurations. Friday was the original short course at 1.8 miles, Saturday the full east course at 3 miles, and Sunday the full east/west course at 5 miles. Boy it was a hot one! We don't have to race in 100+F temps here in California very often, so this weekend really tested the cooling capabilities of car and driver alike.
