When I bought the LOLA six months ago I did one short 3-session test at Sonoma and one 2-day race at Willow Springs, but it has been sitting ever since. So I did a little prep last week just to make sure it was up for a wknd at the track. Got to the track Friday morning for the afternoon test, three sessions, each about 15 minutes. Sonoma Raceway was hot and sunny this wknd, … [Read more...] about CSRG CHARITY CHALLENGE, OCT 2021

2021 RMMR (aka the Monterey Historics)
I attended my first Monterey Historics race weekend back in 1988, and have attended as a spectator and crewmember many times since. But this year was my first time as an entrant! What a different outlook on the event I have now. Having to load in on Wednesday and load out after the final race on Sunday takes a major commitment indeed. And you really have to adjust your thought … [Read more...] about 2021 RMMR (aka the Monterey Historics)
CSRG DAVID LOVE VINTAGE RACES, SONOMA ’21

CSRG (AND MY 2020 SEASON) FINALE
Great race weekend up at Thunderhill Raceway with CSRG over the Halloween weekend. I got to pit with some old friends and made some new ones as well. Had a couple nice dinners re-telling old stories, burned off the end of this season's tires, the car ran great, and we even got a few good races in. It was a great way to end the season! … [Read more...] about CSRG (AND MY 2020 SEASON) FINALE
CSRG CHARITY CHALLENGE 2020, THE EXPLODED VIEW
Photo by Patrick Krohn Fires, viruses, pestilence, locusts, they threw it all at us, yet we still raced. Friday's Test day was cancelled by the track ownership due to bad smoke conditions from the local Sonoma/Napa fires. Strict COVID protocol was required with multiple liability wavers, masks, social distancing, no spectators, no Club gatherings, temps in the 90s, etc, … [Read more...] about CSRG CHARITY CHALLENGE 2020, THE EXPLODED VIEW
