I'm happy to say that I was able to compete in both the SFR SCCA and CSRG 2024 season finales held at Thunderhill Raceway on consecutive weekends. Both events welcomed wonderful California Fall weather, and both clubs held their season-ending banquets. Awards were handed out, thanks were given, and cheer was shared. Amongst this weekend's Wings & Slicks Group we had a '80's Indy car (alcohol burner), FCs, FSVs, two modern Normas, quite a few WSRs, and a half dozen Sports 2000s. Our Group 7 this weekend at Sonoma Raceway with CSRG consisted of a ten Formula Atlantics and a few Sports 2000s. A smaller group than normal as there was another big vintage event going on nearby. Well, we tried to race on the freshly paved Laguna Seca Raceway during the first weekend of July, and hundreds of us showed up to give the new asphalt a go. But...
