2017 and ’18 Pacific F2000 National Class (Pinto powered) Champion car. Currently running in both SCCA and Vintage, so you can have twice the fun! Fast enough to keep up with the Zetec powered FCs and old enough to be allowed in many vintage Wings & Slicks classes. 1:23’s at Willow Springs, 1:32’s at Laguna Seca, this is truly the cheapest and funnest way to go fast! Drivetrain:
Ford 2.0L by Ivey Engines – full SCCA-spec rebuild in 2017, steel head, new forged rods/pistons, uprated Elgin cam, lightened steel flywheel, new Bosch distributor, carb rebuilt, dyno sheets available (149hp).
Pace Products aluminum oil pan and dry sump pump. Coated HyTech header, Coast Fab muffler.
Hewland LD200 gearbox, Tilton 7.25” hydraulic clutch, new disc at rebuild. 3 first gear sets, 10 top gear sets.
Chassis:
Penske 8100 double-adjustable shocks. Dual front shock. ARBs.
LD20/19 brake calipers, floating rotors, Wilwood masters, PFC pads.
3 sets OZ lightweight racing wheels wearing used Avon tires.
Set of Velocity Haus transport wheels.
AMB transponder.
New ATL fuel cell 2017.
New Safecraft Novec fire system 2017.
New right radiator and oil cooler 2017.
Carrying lots of ballast to make weight.
Cockpit:
Currently set up with analog gauges. EIS SFI foam seat for tall, thin driver.
